KATSCHBERG-RENNWEG

This unique resort in the state of Carinthia offers mostly 4 star hotels and vacation apartments with ski in and ski out convenience, not a usual feature of European resorts. Catering to families is its specialty, with free child care offered during the ski day. A broad range of accommodations, shopping and other services can be found in Rennweg.

Terrain: Aineck mountain has mostly open snowfields . Tschaneck mountain has skiing above treeline, too, but also trails in the trees. 70 km (43 mi) of prepared runs. Longest run: 8,000 m (4.9 mi) from top of Aineck mountain to village of St. Margarethen
