Ski area of the Trois Vallées, largest ski domain in the world (Courchevel, Meribel, la Tania, Les Menuires & Val Thorens. Modern, purpose-built resort, ski-in-ski-out. Other Information: Entire Three Valleys has 600 km (372 mi) of prepared pistes, 132 km (82 mi) of cross country tracks, and 183 lifts that can handle 259,000 skiers per hour. By end of 2005 Les Menuires will inaugurate a new sports center, a huge complex with four sport and fitness areas. Also new is a hands-free, comfortable, state-of-the-art ski pass
