Valmorel opened in the mid-70’s, but unlike purpose-built resorts of the same era has maintained its original architecture. It’s divided into 6 connecting hamlets, compact and without the need of an automobile, plus a dedication to children’s activities makes Valmorel an ideal ski in/ski out family resort.

Terrain: 2,650 hectares (8,896 acres) 150 km (93 mi) of pistes. In the Snow Zone are one half pipe, a boarder cross, 2 style slopes and a free ride area.
Skiing Circus: Tarentaise-Maurienne link creates the “Grand Domaine” with Saint François Longchamp
Lifts: 35 local, 16 others in connected area of St. Francois Longchamp
