Macugnaga is located in the western Alps, the northwest section of the Italian peninsula. The resort is divided into two ski areas, Staffa and Pecetto. An attractive alpine village with a lot of charm. Close enough to the Italian/Swiss border, so that a day trip to Saas Fee in Switzerland can be enjoyed. Gressoney and Alagna are nearby ski area.
