This is Sweden's most well known ski resort. It's located 100 km from Östersund and approximately 640 km from Stockholm. Åre and Duved are connected by ski buses. Duved is the quieter resort with a few restaurants; Åre offers more nightlife. Skiing for all levels, plus Sweden’s only cable car.
