BERNESE OBERLAND
(German speaking region) Interlaken is a year-round resort and a major destination for skiers. It sits between two lakes, Brienzersee and Thunersee, but the skiing is 20 to 40 minutes away by train or ski bus. It is not ski in-ski out, but makes up for it with a wide range of attractions.
