PRINCIPALITY OF LIECHTENSTEIN

German speaking region. Malbun is a small ski area up a winding road from the capital city of Vaduz. It is a pleasant place to visit during a sightseeing or business trip to this romantic tiny nation.

Elevation: Base: 1,300 m (4,264 ft); Top: 2,000 m (6560 ft)

Vertical: 700 m (2,296 ft)

Terrain: More than two thousand feet of vertical and 21 km (13 mi) of downhill runs on two facing mountains around the village

Lifts: 5

Types: 3 chair lifts (two four-passenger, one six-pack with heated seats and windbreakers), 1 draglift, 1 "pony" lift

Lift Capacity: 6,800 p/h

Cross Country: Four loops at Steg 4 km (2.5 mi) classic, easy trail ; 15 km (9 mi) of classic Nordic trail and a similar length of skating track. Also 3 km (2 mi) lighted
